Arrival to the event
We do not recommend coming by car. There are no public parking spaces near the quarter, and you could easily get a parking ticket. Please come on foot, by bus (TKL lines 2 and 14) or by bike. There is a bike parking area outside the quarter, on both sides of the ticket office. Due to lack of space, prams, pushchairs and pets cannot be taken into the yard. There is a parking space for prams and pushchairs next to the ticket office.
The festival area is accessible by wheelchair and has an accessible toilet. Personal assistants of festival guests get free admission.
You can support the poetry festival by buying merchandise from the ticket office: pins and posters. The residents have a buffet that offers affordable vegetable soup, sweet and savoury delicacies as well as coffee, tea and soft drinks. Books by most of our performers are sold at the book bazaar. There, you will also find the popular signing desk, where you can ask performers to sign a book for you. The café has a mobile phone charging station.
Please note that the festival’s ticket office and festival café can only accept cash. Some of the sellers at the book bazaar accept card payment. So please bring some cash to avoid inconvenience.
Take part in a photo competition by sharing your festival photos with the hashtag #annikkipoetryfestival to win book prizes.
The entire festival area in the yard is smoke-free. There is a smoking area outside the quarter.
